Is this your first 10K?

 

Here are our tips to help you train for our 10K:

  1. Run Often – try two 30 minutes runs in the week and a longer one at the weekend
  2. Go Longer – every other weekend increase your long run by 1.5-2K
  3. Chill Out – make sure you rest on your non-run days to avoid fatigue
  4. Practice Hills – you’ve heard about our Charterhouse hill right?  Add some hills to your training to help you tackle it on the day
  5. Get Ready – the week before the race do two 30 minute runs but rest the 2 days before to allow your legs to recharge
  6. Have Fun – the TH10K marshals are there to support you and cheer you on.  It really is a fun day – our previous runners tell us so.
