Amazing day, amazing runners

Well, we seem to have done it again.

The sun shone (but not too much), the rain stayed away, the course was (mostly) clear of leaves and branches, marshals cheered and our runners did amazingly well.

Check out our results - this year our fastest runner was 1 minute 40 faster than last year's. Could be a new race record (certainly the fastest time I have on record).

Congrats to everyone and a HUGE thank you to all our marshals, on-site team and supporters

It is nearly time for our 6th race!

Firstly, we must apologise for the terrible weather last weekend. In order to book the perfect running weather for Sunday we had to accept such terrible wet and cold!!

We are busy, busy, busy, getting ready. We have just sent out our runners packs to everyone that had registered before 10pm tonight (25th September). Not got your pack? Please check your spam folder (we use mail chimp and they sometimes get lost) or contact us at info@thehighway10k.com and we will send you another.

If you registered after this date we will send your pack after registration closes.

Please note that if you registered on behalf of a friend or family member on your email, we need you to share your pack with them too.

We can't wait to see you on Sunday. Take care until then.

Only 2 weeks to go!!

With only 2 weeks to go we have started to reminisce about last year's fabulous race (as well as step up our preparations for this year).

Have you seen our fabulous sponsors?

With only 5 weeks to go it seems a good time to give a shout out to our sponsors. Without them we couldn't put on the quality event we have become known for.

We are of course supported once again by Coolings. Did you know the company first started growing and supplying the local area - initially Chislehurst - in 1913? No wonder they are the "gardener's garden centre" with all that experience. Learn more about their history here.

This year we are also being supported by Knockholt favourite Ox in Flames - a family run, independent service station and garage repair workshop that also sells quality used cars (to rest your tired legs after that Charterhouse hill!)

Inspired by the marathon?

This year's marathon was both the hottest on record and the largest with 40,255 runners crossing the finish line. We hope that the temperatures don't soar too high for our race or "that hill" will be even more tough than normal but we plan to make it as great as last year's event (if not better).
